SPECIAL MEETING

Monday, January 26, 2009

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Del Norte and the governing body of all other special assessment and taxing districts, for which said Board so acts, is now meeting in special session.  Only those items that indicate a specific time will be heard at the assigned time.  All other items may be taken out of sequence to accommodate the public and staff availability. 

 

AGENDA ITEMS

1.     Introduction of Rod Butler, City Manager and William Renfroe, Executive Director of Tri-Agency.

2.     Presentation by Jim Strong, Visitor's Bureau regarding the 2009 update from the Visitor's Bureau along with a request for permanent funding of 25% of TOT funds.

3.     COMMENT PERIOD:  Members of the public may address the Board on matters which are within the jurisdiction of the Board.  If you are addressing the Board regarding a matter listed on the agenda, you may be asked to hold your comments until the Board takes up that matter.  Please limit your comments to three minutes or less.

4.     Receive a staff report on the City/County Building Inspection program and Planning functions.**

5.     Receive a report from staff on Economic Stimulus Package Projects.**

6.     Discuss and take possible action on Budget impacts due to the economic decline.

7.     Receive a report from City staff on the Wastewater Treatment Plant.**

8.     Receive a staff report on the Emergency Preparedness workshop and programs.**

9.     Discuss and take possible action regarding a Nuisance Abatement Program.

10. Commercial/Industrial Land Survey staff report.**

11. Housing Authority Staff Report.**

12. Housing Rehab Staff Report.**

13. Discuss and take possible action regarding Community Vision.

14. City/County 2x2.

15. Adopt a Resolution of First 5 Del Norte.**
